In the emergency room, every minute counts—and so does every action taken to protect our patients. The vital signs monitors we currently use require rigorous cleaning between every patient, multiple times a day. Despite our best efforts, the risk of contamination is always present. Adding new wall-mounted units for each observation room would make a real difference. They would significantly reduce handling, speed up our response times, and, most importantly, provide a safer environment for everyone. Supporting this project means contributing directly to the quality and safety of the care we provide to our community.
As a nurse at the Hôpital de l’Enfant-Jésus RHSJ† de Caraquet for several years, I see firsthand every day how state-of-the-art equipment can transform our patients' care journey.
